I started the Nick Schuyler Foundation so that my fallen brothers would never be forgotten. Most importantly, I hoped that the Nick Schuyler Foundation could and would help prevent similar boating accidents and help to educate the public in boating/water safety. I feel that I have accomplished this in many ways and will continue to do so.

In the past we have run two Flag Football Tournaments that took months and months of preparation and countless volunteers. Due to the economy it has been difficult to run these as large as we have in the past. I have realized over the last several years that a Foundation takes a lot of time from many individuals.

I closed the “Nick Schuyler Foundation” and it will now be known as “Nick Schuyler”. While the name will change, the purpose will not. I will never forget my fallen brothers and I will continue to promote boating/water safety. I am just going to be doing it on a smaller scale.

I would like to thank everyone for continuing to support me and hope that you will continue to do so. Nothing has changed except the name. I also ask that you continue to pray for my fallen brothers, and to support our cause under “Nick Schuyler”.

Thank you to each and everyone that participated in our 2010 and 2011 Flag Football tournaments, the sponsors, the players, the spectators and most of all, the committee members and volunteers.  I am planning more events in the future, just on a smaller scale.  Please continue to check this site periodically for news and upcoming events.

I know that Will, Corey and Marquis are watching down on all of us and smiling!

LOVE, STRENGTH, HOPE

Nick Schuyler

Nick, his family, and friends are concerned individuals dedicated to promoting boater and water safety.  Any funds that are raised in the future will be donated to the "William Bleakly Memorial Scholarship" at the University of South Florida in Tampa and to the United States Coast Guard.
